Starting 2010 digital declarations will be used for all Belarusian exports, Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Andrei Yevdochenko told a roundtable session “Trade development and export promotion in the modern world: Belarus’ prospects” in Minsk on June 18. 

Andrei Yevdochenko remarked that the State Customs Committee has deployed an electronic declaration system. In H1 2009 the system is supposed to process 50% of Belarusian exports. 

“There are plans to use electronic declarations for all the exports starting 2010. As from January 1 we will expand electronic declaration procedures to include the goods imports,” said the Deputy Foreign Minister. In his opinion, it will allow commercial operators to save a lot of time and money.
