On 6-7 July Minsk will host International Banking Forum “International Cooperation and Prospects of Anti-Crisis Policy of Banks of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe ”. The annual session of the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) will be held within the framework of the Minsk International Banking Forum. 

The Minsk International Banking Forum will be organized by the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe , the Belarusian Banks Association and Belarusbank. The forum is held under the auspices of the National Bank of Belarus, the permanent commission for monetary policy and banking activity of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, the Economy Ministry and the Foreign Ministry.

Attending the forum will be more than 200 delegates from 40 countries: heads of the banks – BACEE members and other foreign banks, delegations of the CIS banking associations, experts of international finance organizations, heads of state bodies, banks, leading Belarusian companies, businessmen, specialists of research institutes and economic universities. 

The main goal of the forum is to create the positive image of Belarus for European financial organizations to attract foreign investments, develop international contacts of Belarusian banks, share experience, discuss the key issues of the banking system development, develop the agreed opinion of the banking community to overcome the global financial and economic crisis. 

The programme of the forum includes presentations of the Belarusian banking system, discussions about the measures taken by banks to overcome the global financial and economic crisis. 

During the forum, its participants will discuss the situation in the banking sector of Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia .
