Budpragres-2009, the international exhibition of construction materials, will take place in Minsk on 1-4 September, it was learned from Minskexpo, the promoter of the exhibition.

More than 380 Belarusian and foreign companies are expected to take part in the event. Some 87% of participants will be Belarusian companies. The largest collective booth (a total of twenty-seven companies) will be presented by the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of Belarus.

Taking part in the event will be companies from Poland, Lithuania, Germany, and Belgium. Turkish companies constitute the majority of the foreign participants.

Budpragres-2009 will take place at the indoor football centre at Pobediteley avenue, 20/2, and at open ground near the exhibition hall at Pobediteley avenue, 14. The exhibition programme includes business seminars. The exhibition will open with a Best Construction Material of the Year award ceremony.

Budpragres is the major construction exhibition in Belarus. Some 380 companies from 13 countries took part in it last year.
