German jobless total falls
Unemployment in Germany fell for the 22nd month in November, dropping to the lowest level in more than 14 years.
The latest figures show the number of people out of work went down by 55,000.
The unadjusted unemployment rate slipped to 8.1 percent in November, the lowest since November 1992.
In August those out of work numbered 8.8 percent falling through September and October to today's 8.1 percent rate. Growth is expected to continue into 2008 and unemployment to fall, but at a slower rate.
Companies need to take on more staff to help eradicate order backlogs even as the economy shows signs of cooling amid high oil prices and a strong euro and weak dollar.
