Deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly will attend a workshop to discuss the state, problems and development prospects of the banking system of Belarus. The workshop will be held in Minsk on 11 November.

The MPs will visit the National Bank of Belarus and its central depository and study the experience of Belarusbank, Belagroprombank and Priorbank. They will get familiar with the issues regarding the banking services to individual clients, support of the agriculture industry, remote services, plastic card cashless settlements and investment and banking operations. The MPs will also discuss the promotion of new products and approaches to servicing of individual clients.

Participants of the plenary session which will be held as part of the workshop will present the information about the state and prospects of development of the banking system, monetary policy guidelines of Belarus, currency regulation and control and also banking supervision.
