Belarus does not rule out a possibility of setting up a joint dairy company with the Russian companies in the near future, Agriculture and Food Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi told media on 8 June.

“Such cooperation is possible. But the terms will be tough including for the Unimilk Dairy,” the minister said. In his words, cooperation with the Russian companies and companies from other countries is possible provided that they share new technologies.
“We need only new technologies,” Mikhail Rusyi added.

At the same time Belarus is open to investors. “We welcome investors in the country. But we need such technologies that will make us competitive at the foreign markets,” he said.
