Production Association Gomselmash, Kherson Machine-Building Plant and the Ukragroleasing company have signed a memorandum of cooperation in Kyiv, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Industry Ministry.

The document stipulates the implementation of projects in the financing, production and sales of agricultural machinery on the territory of Ukraine.

The regional sales department at Production Association Gomselmash noted that cooperation will focus on the assembly of combine harvesters KZS-1218 at Kherson Machine-Building Plant where knock-down kits will be delivered. The first stage will be carried out from September 2013 to the end of the year. There are plans to assemble 100 combine harvesters over this time. The second stage will kick off next year, with 420 machinery units to be assembled.

Production Association Gomselmash is a multi-field producer of vehicles for cultivation and harvesting of major agricultural crops. The product range of the enterprise consists of combine harvesters and equipment for yielding cereals, maize and other forage crops, sugar beet and potatoes.

Kherson Machine-Building Plant is the only plant in Ukraine which specializes in the production of complex agricultural machinery. The products of the plant are in demand not only domestically but also on foreign markets. Agricultural machinery from this plant is exported to Russia, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro.
